Here's where we spent time in Queenstown while resting between tramps. We took the Gondala to the top of the Mt. to see the town along with the depths of the lake. If you check out the picture you can even see sections of the bottom of the lake. This is how amazing the water is here. The day was a bit overcast so the pictures don't quite justify the heights of the hills.

So the top two pictures are just shots we took on the drive from Christchurch to the West coast for the treks we took. It's unbelievable how blue and clear the water is. This bottom picture was taken in a winery where a concert was held. Fat Freddies Drop....very jam and chill.....I recommend you guys check out this NZ Band!

One of the hut's above, and on our drive back to Queenstown we got to experience New Zealand sheep hearding for the first time.....we sat in our car until they passed, we have video footage too!

Here's one of the first trek's we backpacked. It was soooo incredible and we can't wait for more. We actually camped, but believe it or not you can hike from hut to hut and sleep indoors with running water and wood stoves. That will have to come in the winter and spring when we need the shelter.

Here's our car! The name is Oliver Rojo, or Ollie....We've slept in it, a little short for Andy, but we manage. It's racked 110,000 K's which is only about 68,000 miles. We bought it for only a whopping $1,200 or $600 each. (US$$$) Comes with a sunroof and alarm too!

When we arrived we spent the day in Auckland waiting for our flight to Christchurch. We visited the sky tower for some of the best views of the City.

So get this....New Zealand is 2/3rd's the size of California. Wherever you are in the country you will never be further than 70 k's (about 40 miles) away from the ocean. So we figured that we will be able to see everything before we leave. However, there is soooo much to do that it might be impossible.
